Youths engage in a hands-on training session focused on practical business skills and inclusive economic empowerment across Nakuru, Nandi, and Kisii Counties. The program provides participants with essential knowledge in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, innovation, and market access—tools designed to support self-employment and sustainable livelihoods. Through group activities, mentorship, and real-life case studies, the sessions foster a proactive and solution-oriented mindset among young people.
A total of 1,047 youths were reached through this initiative, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusive growth and community resilience. The training empowers marginalized and unemployed youth with the competencies needed to thrive in today’s dynamic economy. It also creates opportunities for peer networking and local business incubation, positioning youth as active contributors to Kenya’s economic transformation.
This initiative aligns with Ler Consult’s broader mission to support inclusive socio-economic development through targeted capacity-building programs and community-driven strategies. By investing in the potential of young people, Ler Consult helps bridge the skills gap, reduce youth unemployment, and create a pipeline of empowered individuals ready to lead sustainable economic initiatives in their communities.
