Prof. Hannah Orwa Bula
Prof. Hannah Orwa Bula is an experienced trainer, researcher, and consultant in business development and enterprise growth. She holds a PhD and MBA in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Nairobi.
She has over 20 years of experience supporting small enterprises, youth, and women-led businesses through research, training, and policy advisory. Her work has focused on entrepreneurship, skills development, agribusiness value chains, and inclusive enterprise systems.
Hannah has worked with Innovation for Poverty Action, the EU Horizon GETM4 Project, KU-WEE Hub (funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation), KALRO, and the Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities Project. She has designed and delivered training on enterprise growth, mentorship, and employability across counties in Kenya.
Her expertise combines practical business advisory with academic research, giving clients actionable strategies that are backed by evidence. At LER Consult, Hannah leads the Business Development Training portfolio, where she guides program design, mentorship, and capacity-building initiatives for entrepreneurs and enterprises.
