Prof. Ambrose O. Jagongo.
Prof. Ambrose O. Jagongo is a senior lecturer, researcher, and business development specialist with over 20 years of experience in enterprise development, training, and mentorship. He holds a PhD and MBA in Business Administration and a BA from Kenyatta University.
Ambrose has led multiple national and international projects that strengthen entrepreneurship ecosystems and build skills for youth and small enterprises. He is a co-investigator on the EU-funded GETM4 project, which focuses on entrepreneurial talent management and policy development across sectors. He also led the Innovation for African Universities Youth Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program, designing incubation and accelerator models to prepare young entrepreneurs for business growth and industry collaboration.
His previous work includes the Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities Project (KYEOP), where he coordinated trainers and delivered business skills programs to youth in several counties. He has also designed curricula for business resilience, financial literacy, and digital skills, and successfully negotiated development funding for enterprise initiatives such as the Coffee House and Bakery project at Kenyatta University.
