Informal Settlements Planning & Survey Project – Western Kenya – Ler Consult
At Ler Consult, we continue to play a critical role in Kenya’s informal settlement transformation agenda by offering expert services in urban planning, tenure regularization, cadastral surveys, and resettlement support. Since October 2022, we have been engaged by the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, under the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, to carry out a comprehensive project targeting 9 informal settlements across Siaya, Homa Bay, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, and West Pokot counties.
As the sole consultant, our work includes policy analysis, community mobilization, socio-economic surveys, base map preparation, environmental and social screening, and detailed Local Physical and Land Use Development Planning. We are also undertaking cadastral and topographical surveys to support the issuance of secure land tenure and improve infrastructure development planning in these settlements.
This project reflects our commitment to inclusive urban development, land rights enhancement, and professional land surveying and planning services in Kenya.
