Mandera Town Integrated Urban Spatial Planning and Cadastral Survey Project (2012–2033).

Integrated Urban Spatial Planning and Cadastral Surveying for Mandera Town, Kenya

In support of sustainable urban development and land regularization in Northern Kenya, we successfully implemented the Integrated Urban Spatial Plan and Cadastral Survey for Mandera Town in 2012. This high-impact project was conducted under a joint venture and commissioned by the Ministry of State for the Development of Northern Kenya and Other Arid Lands.

The project focused on addressing the challenges of unplanned urban growth, insecure land tenure in informal settlements (bulas), and inadequate infrastructure. We delivered a robust spatial planning framework and comprehensive cadastral survey that laid the foundation for orderly development, infrastructure investment, and land tenure regularization for over 6,000 plots. The initiative aligns with Kenya’s Vision 2030 and demonstrates our expertise in urban spatial planning, stakeholder engagement, infrastructure planning, and environmental management.
