Job Summary:
LER Consult seeks a highly competent Environmental and Social Safeguards Specialist to support infrastructure projects in compliance with national and international standards such as NEMA, IFC, and World Bank guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess environmental and social risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support ESIA and RAP integration into project cycles.
- Engage with stakeholders and conduct community consultations.
- Monitor implementation of environmental and social safeguards.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in safeguards implementation.
- Strong knowledge of ESF, OP 4.01, and OP 4.12 frameworks.
- Excellent reporting and communication skills.
