Job Summary:
LER Consult is seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant to spearhead the preparation and coordination of EIAs and Environmental Audits for multi-sectoral projects including infrastructure, housing, energy, and industrial developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening, scoping, and full EIAs in compliance with EMCA regulations.
- Prepare Environmental Management Plans (EMPs).
- Undertake Environmental Audits and compile monitoring reports.
- Liaise with NEMA and other regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or related discipline.
- NEMA EIA/EA Lead Expert license (a must).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting.
- Strong understanding of local and international environmental protocols.
